Terms of use
Last updated 15 October 2026
These are the rules for using ConceptCIE. They are written to be read. If you use the site, you agree to them.
1. What ConceptCIE is
ConceptCIE is a study site for Cambridge International students (IGCSE, O Level, AS and A Level) and, for some subjects, OCR students. It offers notes, practice questions, forecast papers and AI subject tutors.
Some parts of the site are marked Being updated. They are not available yet, and we may change, pause or remove any feature.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to have an account.
- One account per person.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Give us a real email address you can read.
3. AI tutors and forecasts can be wrong
Tutor replies are written by an AI. They can contain mistakes, so check anything important against your syllabus, your textbook or your teacher. Do not rely on a tutor for medical, legal or personal advice.
Forecast papers are our own predictions from the syllabus, past papers and examiner reports. They are not real exam papers and they are not leaks. We cannot promise what will appear in an exam, or what grade you will get.
4. Plans and payment
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are priced in US dollars and are Being updated, so nothing can be bought yet. When paid plans open, the price and the length of access (monthly, a season pass to a stated end date, or yearly) will be shown before you pay.
You can ask for your money back within 7 days of paying. The Refund page has the details.
5. Using the content fairly
Our notes and questions are for your own study. Please do not:
- copy, photograph, record, share, sell or post our notes, questions or answers;
- use bots, scrapers or scripts to collect content;
- make extra accounts to get more free allowance, or get around limits;
- try to break, overload or probe the site's security.
Notes are shown on screen only. Each note carries a mark that identifies your account, and we keep a record of which note sections an account opens. We use this to stop bulk copying and to trace leaks. If an account breaks these rules we may limit or close it.
6. Our content and other people's names
ConceptCIE writes its own notes, practice questions and forecasts. You may use them for your own study, but they stay ours.
Cambridge, IGCSE, O Level, A Level, OCR and similar names belong to their owners. ConceptCIE is not affiliated with Cambridge University Press & Assessment or OCR.
7. What you send us
When you message a tutor, you let us process your message, and send it to our AI provider, so that you get an answer. Please do not put personal details, passwords or private information in a message.
8. Stopping and closing
You can stop using ConceptCIE at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the site or other students at risk.
9. Limits on what we are responsible for
ConceptCIE is a study aid and is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for exam results, for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our mistake, or for the site being unavailable for a while. Nothing here limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
